Everyone buys groceries. Why not passively raise funds while doing what you already do? It adds up quickly! Grocery scrip - which is actually gift cards that BOPs purchases directly from the stores listed below – can help you build your child's trip account while supporting our music programs, too. Scrip cards are available from both coordinators (contact info below) and are sold at all performances.
BOPs sells scrip year round for the following grocery and specialty food stores that you use just like money. Grocery scrip is available in denominations of $50 and $100 (exceptions noted).
- Shop Rite
- Colonial Village ($25 cards)
- Young's Produce on Eagle Road ($5 coupons)
Every $100 of scrip you buy puts $3 into your child's trip account and $2 into the BOPs General Fund. Grocery scrip can be purchased from either coordinator (contact info below), at the concession stand at home football games, and at all band and orchestra concerts.
It's never too early to start! If you begin using grocery scrip when your child is in the middle school, you could pay for the middle school trip and maybe even his/her first high-school trip in full! Ask your family members and friends who shop at any of these stores. They, too, can buy grocery scrip and simply give your child's name to give the credit to your family.
Centrella's Hoagie Vouchers
BOPs also sells vouchers for Centrella's hoagies. Each voucher is $7, which can be used toward the purchase of any cold hoagie or sandwich at Centrella's on Brookline Boulevard.
Grocery scrip and Centrella's vouchers are available from coordinators Kelley Cornish and Ruth Anne Yakscoe.
